This is founded by a local South Florida promoter named Don Cohen. The Original Musician's Exchange was founded on Sunrise Blvd in Ft. Lauderdale when Richie was growing up. It is now alive and cooking at the Downtowner in Ft. Lauderdale and brings big events to town.

Don Coffman
Don is Richie's bass teacher. Don is a bass professor at the renowned University of Miami school of music and is known by bass player around the world. He is an excellent mentor with an excellent roadmap of harmonic knowledge.
